What is Crateit?

Crateit are wooden toys that lay up to play with friends, independent immersion and presence with the family.

The wooden toys are made for the children to color and build as they wish. This is where the most imaginative adventures and stories arise.

With Crateit we can proudly say that our products create joy, utility and benefit, as all our products are produced and gathered by adult people with different challenges, in protected workshops.

We have respect for man and therefore focus on creating meaning and responsible work for the citizens concerned.

Creating CVR

Tonny and Martin want to make a difference. In 2021, they chose to go independently, after graduation, to continue Crateit's missions and ambitions to produce the Danish quality string for children.

The Odense Workshop

The Odense Workshops became the first workshop to produce wooden toys for Crateit.

License collaboration with HC. Andersen's house

Collaboration agreement with HC. Andersen's house became a reality and Crateit now has permission to convey H.C. Andersen's stories through our products.

Crateit's first investment

By 2022 became Crateit Part of Danish Design Invest.

Crateit wins Odin concept 2022

In 2022, Crateit won the prestigious Odin concept award for our innovative design and sustainable approach to toy production.

Crateit's products can now be found in Bog&ide

The end of 2022 offered a new collaboration agreement. We entered into an agreement with Denmark's largest bookstore chain, Bog & ide.

Crateit participates in the first fair ever

At the beginning of 2023, Crateit participated in its first fair. Martin and Tonny went to Herning to showcase Crateit's products at the Formland fair.

Exhibition at the world's largest toy fair

Crateit started 2024 with a trip to Germany. Here we participated in the world's largest toy fair, Spielwarrenmesse.

Employee and product increase

By 2024, the dream of larger premises was fulfilled, and we moved up the tent picks from Odense C to Odense M to larger premises.

Crateit reaches 15 markets

A milestone for Crateit. We are now available in 15 different markets. With the launch in the Swiss market, our products can now be found globally in 15 markets.
