As Crateit was founded in 2021 by Martin and Tonny, the vision was clear: to create a piece of wooden toys that not only entertains but actively stimulating children's cognitive development through play. At the same time, it was crucial that production should be responsible - not only to the environment, but also to the people who are part of it.
But what does it mean to create a responsible production? For Martin and Tonny, it is about taking real responsibility for those behind the product and at the same time developing something that contributes positively to the generations of the future. A production where humanity respect, quality and care is at the center.
Therefore, they chose a path that many companies would not take: to leave people with special needs in charge of production. A decision that is about respect and love for people who meet life with another form of vulnerability and strength.
Affected by personal experiences
Martin's sister -in -law lives with a rare chromosome error, which means she experiences the world differently than most. Tonny has grown up with a mother who worked in residences and protected workshops - and has had a natural connection to people with special needs since childhood. Throughout life, both have had people close by, who with their challenges in life have left deep traces in the heart. People who see the world in their very own unique way, which is extremely inspiring.
The insight and life experience has become part of Crateits DNA. For at Crateit Is there room for everyone - no matter what challenges life has met them with. We develop toys that give children ownership and pride in what they themselves have created. At the same time, we build identity and job satisfaction in adults who have often been excluded from the labor market.
Will change the world
Crateit is about seeing the whole person - in both play and production. Our toys are designed to stimulate children's curiosity, improve fine motor skills and strengthen their confidence when they see something take shape in their own hands. By allowing children to build and color their own toys, we strengthen their independence and creative confidence.
We will be global front figures when it comes to the way the world thinks social responsible production and do something that has never been done before. Alone we can do a little, together we can do everything.
Our ambition is to create an international brand that combines creative play with local, socially responsible production - in Denmark and the rest of the world.

We dream of a world where play bridges people - and where each product contributes to both children's development and the dignity of adults. Crateit will be a global role model for how creative play and social responsibility can go hand in hand. We will show that it is possible to create a sustainable business where both children and adults grow - in Denmark and in the rest of the world.
Mission
We create wooden toys that strengthen children's imagination and cognitive development - and we do so with people who have often been overlooked in the labor market. Through creative play and meaningful employment, we build identity, community and pride together with special and unique people, one toy at a time - because alone we can do a little, but together we can do everything.
Symbolism
The fingerprint
Each fingerprint is unique, just like each individual. The handmade, the personal and the human touch left on the products. It emphasizes that everyone has value and a special place in the community.
The heart
The heart represents humanity, community and a deep care of those who are part of CrateIt. It shows that people are at the heart of everything we do.
The woods
The wooden veins symbolize the life of the tree. Similarly, all people have a unique story worth telling as seen through our wooden toys.

Represents the practical work and the craftsmanship that allows people to contribute and create something valuable.

Stands for care, empathy and the human element of the work - together we create an inclusive and supportive community.

Is about translating our values into concrete action, where we create a positive change through our work for the people around us.
